Q: Hello! Can we meet you?
A: My name is Immanuela Omanukwue. Lead planner, The Laurenmeelabrand. 8months.
Q: Describe the woman that came into EBS and the woman stepping out.
A: I came in very unsure especially after learning it was an advanced class for event planners. But in all I am excited I did it all afraid and pushed myself to stay till the last week.
I have noticed the zeal to research and know more about virtually everything, my reading and asking question habits has improved a whole lot.
Q: What are the things you have been procrastinating but being in EBS has helped you take action?
A: Knowing the niche to focus on in the event space.
Q: How has being in EBS made you a better planner to prospective clients?
A: I am not yet a planner but I have become a better event coordinator. The urge to always get everyone in line, meeting up with their timeline and executing their task properly.
Q: Why was it important for you to join EBS?
A: You did well taking the bold step to not quit or keep going even when you realized it was an advanced class.
Q: While working on the lead magnet what were your major highlights?
A: Understanding that a tailored focus is more important than being a jack of all trades.
Q: We had an assignment of writing 750 words daily. How did this help you?
A: It helped me become comfortable with my inner self again. It helped me overcome the fear of embracing my writing skills.
Q: What difference have you noticed from optimizing your page?
A: I have not built it the way I want. But I am intentionally working on it.
Q: Of all the templates shared, which have you found to be a DIAMOND?
A: I enjoyed the template that taught the use of Canva to create my moodboard. I am not good with Canva yet but I am embracing it gradually because it has a very neat finish to it everytime.
“My passion for event planning and hunger to know more has doubled and I love it!”
Q: What key things did you learn from the Marketing Module?
A: I will say that storytelling as a tool in marketing is a favorite. Using it has been rewarding, to say the least.
Q: I believe you came into EBS with expectations? Were they met?
A: Yes yes, EBS is a whole lot. It has made me genuinely want to do better and deeply understand the business of event planning.
Q: As a senior EBS tribe, what advice would you give to the next set of EBS tribe?
A: Be very open and ready to learn. Be ready to put in the work and practice as you learn so as not to be overwhelmed.
Be very involved, do not hold yourself back from being a super participatory student. Always reach out to your team members and coach once you feel stuck.
Always remember that together everyone achieves more.
“I pat myself on the back for taking that bold step to join EBS.”
Q: Any Final words?
EBS pushed me hard and I’m thankful for it. I have noticed my zeal to learn new things being refueled and feel more confident about my work! Coach D is a brainbox!
